Local Dairyman Font
Local Dairyman Font
Local Dairyman is a decorative, all-caps typeface, with two styles inspired by vintage signs and quirky hand-lettering seen on old-timey milk bottles. This small yet charming throwback feels right at home on signage, logotypes, and other artifacts from the 1950’s.
The uppercase characters are designed to be used for titles and other bold placements, while the clean, hand-drawn lowercase letters and punctuation are perfect for longer runs of casual text or note-taking.
This font includes punctuation, numbers, and a small selection of symbols. Terms and license information below.
File Types: OTF, TTF, and WOFF
Selecting Glyphs in Illustrator and Photoshop
The full set of glyphs are easily accessible through the Window > Type > Glyphs panel in Illustrator (Window > Glyphs panel in Photoshop). Double clicking a glyph while actively typing in a text area will drop the characters into the body of text.
This feature is similarly available outside of Illustrator and Photoshop as Character Map on PC, and Font Book on Mac—both programs will allow characters to be selected, copied, and pasted into word editing software.
